On Wednesday, May 20th, dog lovers across Middle Tennessee can enjoy great food for a great cause at Dog Haus Biergarten in East Nashville. In honor of National Rescue Dog Day and the 80th anniversary of Nashville Humane Association, 20% of every dine-in purchase will benefit animals in need.

Since launching in 2010, Dog Haus has built a fiercely loyal nationwide following. Founded by longtime friends Hagop Giragossian, Quasim Riaz, and André Vener, the brand started in Pasadena. They now have more than 50 locations across the United States. Dog Haus Biergarten recently opened a new location in Franklin. However, the Franklin location is temporarily closed until the end of the week. To partake in the event, Williamson County residents are encouraged to visit Dog Haus in East Nashville this Wednesday. Where you can help support the National Rescue Dog Day fundraiser benefiting local rescue animals. Guests are invited to bring friends and family. They serve hand-crafted, hormone- and antibiotic-free hot dogs, sausages, burgers, and plant-based proteins. The also feature fan-favorite creative creations of hot dogs. Available for adoption at the Nashville Humane Association, Widget, pictured above, is a playful, clever pup with a big personality and an adventurous spirit. She loves off-leash playtime, chasing a flirt pole, and playing fetch. She especially enjoys squeaky toys and stuffed animals. One of her funniest quirks is rolling on her treats before eating them. She is treat-motivated and eager to learn. Widget already knows “sit” and is improving through positive reinforcement and trades.
She is friendly with new people and enjoys socializing with other dogs. Her playstyle is bouncy and engaging. She also enjoys calm moments like car rides, kennel time, massages, and scratches.
