Alzheimer’s Association TN Chapter Offers FREE, In-person Program at Williamson County Public Library

The Alzheimer’s Association TN Chapter presents a FREE and in-person program, “Navigating Grief and Loss – How Alzheimer’s Disease Impacts the Emotional Grief Journey on Tuesday, August 23, 12 p.m. CT at the Williamson County Public Library (1314 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, TN 37064).

This educational program will be facilitated by Alzheimer’s Community Educator Melissa Burton, LCSW, CMC.

Alzheimer’s is often called the long good-bye, and grief begins while a person with dementia is still living. Melissa Burton, LCSW, CMC will share more about the grieving journey, as well as healthy and helpful coping strategies. This program is designed both for those who are actively caregiving and those whose loved ones have passed.
