Arrington Vineyards

Arrington Vineyards offers a wine country experience just 25 minutes from Franklin, TN. Nestled within a 95-acre estate, the vineyard features 16 acres of vineyards, five tasting rooms, and vast outdoor seating areas to enjoy the picturesque surroundings. The Pavilion is open daily, where you can purchase award-winning wines, wine-tasting flights, merchandise, and snacks. Arrington Vineyards wines and other merchandise can also be purchased online.

The vineyard also serves as a social hub for the community and visitors, hosting live jazz and bluegrass weekends from April through November and offering Food Truck Fridays from May through October. Visitors don’t need a reservation or tickets – simply arrive and enjoy the festivities!

Reservation options are available for group tasting experiences, including food and wine pairing and traditional bar tasting.

Allenbrooke Farms

Allenbrooke Farms, a family-owned and operated 120-acre certified organic farm, is situated in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The farm specializes in a range of agricultural activities, notably offering pick-your-own experiences that include strawberries and a variety of flowers. In addition to these engaging activities, Allenbrooke Farms produces its own honey and manages an on-site farm stand. This stand serves as a retail outlet where customers have the opportunity to purchase a selection of fresh, organic produce directly from the farm. Allenbrooke Farms expands its offerings by hosting weddings at The Barn at Allenbrooke Farms and providing glamping tent rentals for guests seeking an elevated outdoor experience.

Fantastic Beiling Farm

Fantastic Beiling Farm prides itself on sustainable and ethical farming. This family-owned operation offers a variety of unique, homemade products made from ingredients sourced directly from their farm. Their offerings, available both locally and online, include artisan dairy products such as fresh eggs, chevre cheese, and a selection of personal care items like soaps, body creams, and lotion bars.

Hatcher Family Dairy

Known for their pasture-raised milk, Hatcher Family Dairy recently introduced Middle Tennessee’s first robotic milkers and are offering tours of the facility beginning in late spring or early summer. The farm also hosts events throughout the year, including the upcoming Milk and Cookies Day

Their dairy store is open Monday through Saturday, offering everything from milk and ice cream to local treats and their own merchandise. Try their famous chocolate milk at the coffee bar and enjoy the farm views from the picnic area. Visitors can book an overnight stay on the property at Dr. Hatcher’s Cabin or The Milker’s House through Airbnb. If you can’t make it out to the farm, you can find their products at over 90 vendors in the area, including Frothy Monkey, Puckett’s Restaurant and Grocery, and the Onyx and Alabaster coffee lounge.

Lucky Ladd Farm

Lucky Ladd Farms offers a mix of fun for all ages, featuring Tennessee’s largest petting farm, a wide variety of fun park attractions, and seasonal events like the Tennessee Tulip Festival and Easter activities. Visitors can enjoy pony rides, explore nearly 60 acres of play areas, and participate in unique events such as the Enchanted Fairytale Festival

The farm is also an educational hub, offering guided field trips, group experiences, summer camps, and birthday parties where participants can experience hands-on interaction with farm animals. 

They also offer seasonal pick-your-own experiences and the farm’s Market Gift Barn features local and artisan foods, seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh bakery goods, and more.

Mistletoe Farm Alpacas

Discover the gentle nature of alpacas up close at Mistletoe Farm Alpacas. Here, visitors have the opportunity to interact with over 20 alpacas on this 15-acre farm. The farm is open for visits beginning April 27th, offering 30-minute and 1-hour sessions, with group rates available. They also offer learning adventures for Boy and Girl Scout troops, homeschool and school groups, as well as birthday parties.

Morning Glory Orchard

Morning Glory Orchard is a second-generation family farm located in Nolensville, Tennessee. They offer a variety of fresh, locally-grown produce including peaches, apples, and vegetables, along with other products like jams, preserves, baked goods, and their own hard cider, Roots & Wings. Emphasizing the importance of local sourcing, the farm grows 13 varieties of apples and 8 varieties of peaches. Anything not grown on their property is sourced from within Tennessee.

Throughout the season, they host various events and activities, such as Taste and Tour experiences, mixology classes, and seasonal craft series. They also offer self-guided tours, various themed events, and educational field trips, where children can experience hands-on learning about apple farming and the significance of bees in pollination.

They open for the 2024 season on June 13th, but are currently fulfilling orders for their homemade honey, jams, and cider available through their online store for pickup.

Noble Springs Dairy

Noble Springs Dairy is a family-run goat farm located just outside of Franklin, Tennessee. They raise their goats on sprawling pastures and use their milk to produce a variety of cheeses, fudge, and skincare products. Visitors can enjoy farm tours, goat-cuddling experiences, live music events, and even birthday parties on the farm. They also offer a farm camp where children can learn about farm animals and cheese making. Their products are available for purchase at the farm and several stores in the Franklin area, including Whole Foods Market and Herban Market.

Old Stone Creamery

Old Stone Creamery is a family-run farm raising high-quality Black Angus beef. Their cattle are raised without growth hormones, antibiotics, or preservatives, and fed hay and corn grown right on their farm. Committed to sustainable practices, Old Stone Creamery is Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) and Master Beef Certified. Their beef can be purchased at their farm market, located off Main Street in Spring Hill, Tennessee. 

Beyond beef, visitors can reserve time on the farm for photoshoots and special date nights.

Red Thread Farm

A small-scale vegetable farm, Red Thread focuses on providing locally sourced food and artisan products through sustainable and regenerative farming practices. In addition to a variety of vegetable offerings, Red Thread Farm features artisan sourdough bread from Prevail Bakehouse. The farm products are available at their onsite farm store or can be ordered online for pickup. 

Visits to the farm are welcome, especially during pickup hours, but scheduled tours are not available.

Southall Farm & Inn

Southall Farm & Inn combines a resort and agricultural operation to encourage guests to connect with nature. They offer a range of accommodations, from cozy rooms and suites to cottages, alongside an array of activities designed to enrich the body, mind, and spirit. Guests can indulge in culinary delights that embody the farm-to-table ethos, with fresh ingredients picked from the inn’s greenhouses, orchards, and gardens.

The wellness offerings at Southall include spa treatments that utilize natural ingredients and therapies, salon services, yoga, and meditation. For those seeking adventure, the farm provides unique experiences such as beekeeping tours, archery, and axe throwing. Additionally, Southall is committed to community engagement through hosting events and educational programs that emphasize sustainability and the importance of connecting with the land.

Stoney Creek Farm

Stoney Creek Farm is a Franklin, Tennessee destination focused on sustainable living. They offer educational programs for all ages, from kids’ summer camps and homeschool enrichment classes to kombucha-making classes. Kids can explore the 3.5-acre learning center, complete with a ninja course, hammocks, tiny cabins, goats, chickens, and wildlife. The farm also features a store selling local honey and other produce and even has a loft apartment available for rent
