Songwriters Night Benefiting Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee to Feature Dennis Matkosky and Greg Barnhill

Songwriters Night fundraiser, benefiting Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee’s cancer support program and featuring:

  • Grammy Award-winning songwriter Dennis Matkosky – known for chart-topping hits “You’ll Think of Me” (Keith Urban), “I Need You” (Le Ann Rimes), “You’re Gonna Be” (Reba McEntire) and “Break Away” (Rascal Flatts).
  • Singer, songwriter and composer Greg Barnhill, who has written for artists ranging from Etta James, Martina McBride and Jessica Simpson to Chicago, Lee Ann Womack and Leona Lewis. Among his best-known hits are “Walkaway Joe” (Trisha Yearwood / Don Henley), “House of Love” (Amy Grant / Vince Gill) and “You Don’t Love Me Anymore” (Tim McGraw).

Why: To help fund Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee’s free cancer support program, which serves anyone impacted by cancer, including those diagnosed and their family and friends. Gilda’s Club’s evidence-based programming includes support groups, counseling, healthy lifestyle workshops, mind-body classes, social activities, educational lectures and community resource information – offered from locations in Nashville and Franklin, Tennessee. With approximately 70 professionally-led support and networking groups, and more than 80 educational workshops and lectures each month, Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee is able to make a tangible difference in the lives of those impacted by cancer. We build community, so no one has to face cancer alone.

The event will be held on April 16 from 6:30 PM to  8:30 PM at The Barn at 4480 South Carothers Road, Franklin, TN 37064.

Tickets are $150 and include wine and beer, heavy appetizers, and valet parking.
