WCPR REGISTERING FOR YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAMS

YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAMS IN FRANKLIN & BRENTWOOD, TN

The Athletics Division of Williamson County Parks and Recreation (WCPR) is now registering for upcoming Youth Golf Clinics, Tiny Tots Soccer and Spring Youth Fencing Clinics.  Registration for Spring Junior Tennis Clinics will open March 3.

YOUTH GOLF CLINICS

Registration for Spring Golf Clinics for youth ages 5-12 is now open.  The golf clinics will be located at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park in Brentwood, TN and the Robert A Ring Arena in Franklin, TN. 

The four sessions at Robert A. Ring Arena will be held on Sundays, March 1 – 29 (skip 3/15) from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Registration code #17061. Sessions at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park will be on Fridays, March 6 – April 3 (skip 3/20). Registration code #17060.  The clinic fee of $100 includes equipment. TINY TOTS SOCCER PROGRAM (Ages 4 & 5)

Registration will remain open through February 28 for Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Tiny Tots Soccer Spring Session for ages 4 and 5. The clinic will be held on Wednesdays, March 4 – April 15 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park, 1485 Volunteer Pkwy. in Brentwood. Each child should bring their own size 3 soccer ball to class.

SPRING YOUTH FENCING CLINIC

Registration will remain open through February 28 (or until the clinics are full) for Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Spring Fencing Clinic for coed youth ages 7 to 17. The clinic dates are March 3 through April 2 and will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park, 1485 Volunteer Pkwy., in Brentwood, TN. The cost is $125 (includes equipment rental for level 1 and 2). 

Fencing is a modern day equivalent of a sword fight and is one of the fastest growing sports in the country. Clinic participants will learn the rules of the sport, basic footwork and posture, as well as the rules of the sport, scoring, weaponry and safety rules.

SPRING JUNIOR TENNIS CLINICS

Registration for WCPR’s Spring Tennis Clinics for juniors will open March 3. The clinics will begin the week of March 30 and continue through May 23 at the Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood, 920 Heritage Way.  Junior tennis clinics (age 5 and older) in beginner through advanced skill levels are offered Monday(s) through Saturday(s).  Prices vary depending on the duration of clinic.
