First Horizon Bank Celebrates Grand Opening of Lebanon HOPE Inside Location

Lebanon, Tenn. Dec. 4, 2019 – Middle Tennessee Market President Carol Yochem and representatives of First Horizon Bank were recently joined by Lebanon Mayor Bernie Ash to celebrate the grand opening of the newest HOPE Inside location in Middle Tennessee. Mayor Ash and First Horizon team members were also joined by HOPE Inside Counselor Matt Mitchell and Wilson County Chamber of Commerce representatives for the community celebration.
Based at First Horizon Banks’ 1615 West Main Street branch, the new HOPE Inside location will provide free financial literacy education for area youth, adults and small businesses. HOPE Inside is part of a $1 million commitment by First Horizon Bank’s Financial Education & Empowerment Program, in partnership with global financial dignity and economic empowerment nonprofit, Operation HOPE, Inc.
“We are proud of our continued partnership with Operation HOPE which helps provide the resources to empower people to help themselves,” said Yochem. “The tools, classes and counseling offered at this newest location will help our neighbors learn the steps to building healthy credit and securing their financial futures.”
First Horizon has opened 30 HOPE Inside locations to date, including several offices specific to small business counseling, in the bank’s financial centers throughout Tennessee. The free financial education curriculum is provided by First Horizon’s employee volunteers, strategic nonprofit alliance partners and counselors at First Horizon HOPE Inside offices.
HOPE Inside offices at First Horizon locations served more than 17,000 community members have been served across our company’s footprint. HOPE Inside offices helped clients create 84 new small businesses in 2018 alone.
