FREE Community Skin Cancer Screening at Vanderbilt on June 15th
It is estimated that 1 in 5 Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime, and one person dies from melanoma – the deadliest form of skin cancer – every hour.
To help you detect skin cancer early, in its most treatable stage, the Nashville Dermatologic Society and Vanderbilt Dermatology are partnering to offer a free SpotMe® skin cancer screening on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 9am to noon at Vanderbilt Dermatology One Hundred Oaks, 719 Thompson Lane, Suite 26300, Nashville, TN 37204 (use Entrance A). This event is free and open to the public. Walk-ins are welcome. No appointment is needed.
The SPOTme® skin cancer screening program is part of the American Academy of Dermatology’s SPOT Skin Cancer™ initiative, a campaign to create a world without skin cancer through public awareness, community outreach programs and services, and advocacy that promote the prevention, detection and care of skin cancer.
