BrightStone Efforts During The Big Payback Receive Big Boost with $20,000 Matching Funds

FRANKLIN, TN — BrightStone’s efforts towards The Big Payback this year will receive a major boost thanks to an anonymous donor’s match of up to $20,000. All donations on May 2nd during The Big Payback will provide essential resources for our adults with special needs.

Technology plays a major role in education and learning for the adults at BrightStone who are challenged with intellectual disabilities.  This year, your donation will provide equipment, software, and training that will empower BrightStone students and open new worlds of learning.

The Big Payback is a community-wide, 24-hour online giving challenge hosted by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. This charitable event will help area nonprofits raise much-needed dollars and bring awareness to pressing needs in our community.

In the past four years, The Big Payback has helped raise more than $9.3 million dollars for more than 1,000 local nonprofits – including schools and religious institutions. Participating organizations have received gifts from 18,806 NEW donors they may have not otherwise reached.

Thanks to this incredible $20,000 matching gift, each of your donations on May 2nd towards essential technology for students will be matched dollar for dollar up to $20,000.  Double your impact by making sure to participate in The Big Payback and donate to BrightStone on May 2nd!

All proceeds benefit the adults who attend BrightStone who live each day with intellectual and developmental challenges. BrightStone’s mission is to provide a comprehensive work, social support, and future residential community for adults with special needs, expanding their potential and helping them develop mentally, physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
