Soul food, music, silent auction part of Hard Bargain Association’s celebration
Hard Bargain Association, a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to preservation, affordable housing and revitalization of the historic African-American Hard Bargain neighborhood, is gearing up to host its annual Celebration Dinner on Tuesday, March 29, at the Factory in Jamison Hall.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for a silent auction, appetizers and drinks. The program will begin at 7 p.m. with a soul food dinner catered by Catering & Events by Suzette. Presented by Pinnacle Financial Partners, the evening will include sharing the story of Jasmine Lillard, a fourth-generation Hard Bargain resident who is one of the organization’s newest home buyers.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Mike Hicks and The Contribution. Friends of Hard Bargain sponsors include Solomon Builders, Reliant Bank, Stites & Harbison, HCA/TriStar Health, LP Building Products, BancorpSouth, McCann & Hubbard, Merryman-Farr, Rare Assembly, Franklin Rotary Club at Breakfast, Southern Exposure Magazine, and Williamson Herald.
