“Transforming from a Woman of Influence to a Woman Who Influences”
Speaker: Pat Shea, President & CEO, YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee
Pat has more than thirty years of experience in for-profit and not-for-profit healthcare and human services organizations and has led the YWCA of Nashville & Middle Tennessee since 2005. Under Pat’s leadership, the YWCA has eliminated all debt and has grown its annual operating budget to over $4M, increasing the number of individuals served to more than 10,000 a year by improving and adding services. Pat spearheaded the introduction of Girls Inc. in Nashville, which enables the YWCA to reach middle school-aged girls at a critical time in their lives. Pat has transformed the YWCA’s GED program into a Family Literacy Center to better meet the needs of women and their children. She is visionary for the launch of Dress for Success Nashville under the YWCA umbrella.
Pat is also the founding chair of the Nashville Chapter of the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), which is hosted by the YWCA of Nashville & Middle Tennessee. WPO is a not-for-profit organization focused on women learning from each other. Its members are a diverse group of second-stage entrepreneurial presidents, who have guided their businesses to generate at least $2M in annual sales.
