The Fred J Page Marching Patriot Band competed at the Glencliff Colt Classic at Glencliff HS in Nashville, TN on October 22 and placed 3rd out of 28 bands. The Color Guard and Percussion also took first place overall.
Other bands in competition included larger schools, Clarksville, Independence, Spring Hill, Lebanon, and Cookeville.
The band also placed third overall at the Mid-South Marching Invitational held at Austin Pea State University in Clarksville on October 8th where they placed 4th overall out of 20 bands.
They started the competition season at the Travellers Rest Invitational held at Overton HS where they were award ‘Best Visual’ and ‘Best Auxiliary’ in Class A and were invited to participate in finals.
The band is directed by Matt Emerson, in his first year at Page HS after long-time director, Erick Harris moved to direct the band at the new Summit High School in Williamson County.
