Back by popular demand, it’s Girls’ Night Out at the Franklin Theatre this Wednesday with The Help.
All movie tickets at the Franklin Theatre are $5, and The Help continues through Friday evening. For tickets and additional showtimes, see www.franklintheatre.com.
Our drink special for Girls’ Night Out will be in honor of Miss Celia’s favorite tonic, “Lady-A-Pinkum.” It’s a chambourd-flavored vodka with sparkling wine for $7. In honor of breast cancer awareness month, we’re pinking the drink with $1 of each “Lady-A-Pinkum” going to the cause. Also, 55 South at the corner of 4th & Main is having $5 drinks and appetizers prior to the show. There might even be a chocolate pie door prize to the person who finds the new Chapman’s Pie Wagon menu at the Frankin Theatre for this show. Come out and enjoy a fine movie and your local friends at the Franklin Theatre on Main Street in historic downtown Franklin, but don’t count on getting a ticket at the door–it’s liable to sell out in advance, Sugarpie.
