Seniors to See Production of

It’s time for a fun day of outrageous laughs as the Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Senior Division invites you to join them for lunch and Gaslight Theatre’s production of “Greater Tuna” at the Renaissance Center in Dickson, Thursday, September 4^th.  Greater Tuna is an outlandish satire on life in rural America, featuring two actors who portray more than 20 characters who inhabit Tuna, Texas, the third smallest town in the state. When local Judge Roscoe Buckner is found dead from an apparent stroke while wearing a 1950 turquoise Dale Evans one-piece swimsuit, the fun begins and ascends into outrageous characters and nonstop laughs.

 

The cost is $26 per person. Check-in time the day of the trip begins at 10:45am with an estimated return time of 4:30pm. All transportation is provided by motor coach and will leave from the Franklin Recreation Complex located at 1120 Hillsboro Rd., Franklin. A buffet lunch, dessert and drink at the Renaissance Center are included. Space is limited!

 

To register, call 790-5719, ext. 10 beginning at 9:00 a.m. on or after the first registration date. You must speak with a receptionist in order to make a reservation. You may also register in person. Williamson County residents may register between August 22^nd and September 2^nd. Non-residents are welcome to register between August 27^th and September 2^nd.

Reservations must be paid within 5 days of registration in order to be held. Payment may be received by mail, over the phone or in person (credit card purchases must be over $20.00 and will include a small processing fee) and are non-refundable after the final registration date; unless, the seat is filled from the waiting list. Participants may register up to 1 additional person for each trip.
