Dinner and a Movie
On Thursday February 28th between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., young adults (and older) with disabilities are invited to join the Therapeutic Division of the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department for dinner and a movie. The group will meet at the Franklin Recreation Complex for an in-house showing of the Disney/Pixar film “Ratatouille”, an animated, heart-warming comedy about a Parisian rat who wants to be chef. During the viewing, participants can dine on pizza, chips, soft drinks and dessert.
Cost for this event is $5.00 per person. This is a PALS program (People at Leisure with Support), and caregivers are required to stay with those needing support. Caregivers wishing to eat are asked to register and pay the $5.00 food fee.
Registration for this event is required between January 24th and February 27th. Contact the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Road in Franklin, for more information and registration at 790-5719, ext. 10.
