Photographix
Photographix is a Franklin based wedding photography company specializing in fine art documentary style photographs. Owners, Jennifer Cook and Ann Walker acquired BFA’s in Photography from Watkins College of Art & Design and have been working together for more than two years now. This stylish duo has a creative approach that will make each wedding or big event unique.
All wedding packages start out at $2,500 and include two professional photographers, an engagement session, a Web site with a user id, and a custom designed album. With anywhere from 400 to 800 images posted from the engagement session to the grand exit, the couple can select the photographs used to produce a custom personalized storybook album. It is a perfect album tailored to their liking.
Photographix does not use templates so each book is never the same. Some of the storybook options include 4×5 soft and/or hard back guest albums, 6×8 parent albums, 8×12, 9×13, and 12×16 master albums which can go up to 100 pages holding anywhere from 50 to 200 prints depending on the style and look the couple want to present. The couple also has the options to pick their own paper and cover styles. Covers include metal, leather, transparent and silk options and the paper choices include metallic, photographic or canvas. Whatever storybook their clients desire, Photographix can make it happen!
Over the summer, Photographix had the opportunity to shoot a Fan Club Party with famous country music singer Sara Evans. Sara Evans put on a mini concert for all her guests and then held a meet and greet where each fan had the chance to get individual pictures done with her. Walker states,
“This was completely opposite than a wedding, very fast paced trying to get 300 dedicated fans through for pictures! It was a great experience for Jen and I and love every minute of it.”
Each fan received a complimentary 4×6 photograph and also had the opportunity to purchased additional prints through Photographix’s website. This big event proved to be another success for Photographix leaving Evans and her fans happy with the results.
With their education, experience and creativity, Walker and Cook have built a successful business together with the motto, “We Focus on You”.
