NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 4, 2026)—Twice Daily presented a check donation of $550,000 to its partner Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt at the 26th Annual Twice Daily Golf Cup. Supported by year-round initiatives and headlined by its annual golf tournament, Tri Star Energy, one of the South’s premier convenience retailers and Nashville-based parent company behind Twice Daily, has generated more than $7 million for Monroe Carell since 2002.
Hosted at Hermitage Golf Course, the Twice Daily Golf Cup brought together players, sponsors and supporters for a day of golf to champion the important cause and the hospital’s mission in providing comprehensive, family-centered care. Following the Golf Cup, Twice Daily hosted an award ceremony and reception alongside Monroe Carell’s leadership and child ambassadors, Dalton Waggoner and Blake Kirby.
“We are so thankful to Tri Star Energy and Twice Daily for their continued support of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt,” said John C. Thomas, MD, FAAP, FACS, Chief of Staff at Monroe Carell. “For more than two and a half decades, Tri Star Energy and Twice Daily have generously supported essential programs and projects across our hospital, allowing us to grow and enhance services to care for more children and families.”
Steve Perry, Tri Star Energy’s chief of operations and a member of the Monroe Carell Advisory Board, continues to lead the company’s longstanding fundraising efforts for the hospital’s patients and families.
“Over the last 26 years, Tri Star Energy and Twice Daily have been proud to continue our committed support for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt,” Perry said. “The golf tournament has been something I look forward to each year, and each year, I’m even more blown away by how our community comes together to support such an incredible cause.”
In addition to the check presentation, Tri Star Energy has made supporting Monroe Carell a core priority through several additional initiatives. The company recently sponsored Vanderbilt Health’s annual Clip In 4 the Cure cycling event at GEODIS Park in Nashville, joining local partners to support adult and pediatric cancer research. With more than two decades of partnership, the hospital recently named its campus café Twice Daily Cafe, in honor of the local convenience store retailer and its longstanding support.
