Perenn Bakery Berry Hill in Nashville is the second Middle Tennessee location from husband-and-wife team Tyler and Aubrey O’Laskey, both graduates of the Culinary Institute of America. The couple founded Perenn with a focus on craftsmanship, naturally fermented breads, and pastries rooted in the European tradition of viennoiserie.
The Perenn Berry Hill café operates as a counter-service bakery and coffee shop, offering sourdough breads, pastries, and a menu of breakfast and lunch items like sandwiches, salads, and toasts. Specialty drinks include espresso classics and creative offerings, all prepared on Perenn’s signature custom-painted espresso machine.
This location also serves as Perenn’s central production facility, where guests can see the baking process unfold in an open setting. Freshly milled flour is available for purchase, alongside grab-and-go items like salads, sandwiches, cookie dough, and drinks. Perenn also supplies breads and pastries to local restaurants and stores, extending its reach into the Nashville community.
The café’s design combines industrial architecture with warm, communal touches. Seating includes community tables on the main floor and a mezzanine lounge furnished with leather seating and soft lighting. Looking ahead, Perenn plans to host breadmaking classes and community events at this location.
