Char Restaurant, a contemporary steakhouse by 4Top Hospitality, is set to open in Franklin’s Cool Springs area in 2026. Located within the upcoming Canteen on Carothers mixed-use development, Char will offer a modern Southern dining experience. The 6,500-square-foot space will accommodate 215 guests across its dining room, bar, private dining area, and patio. Known for USDA Prime and Choice cuts, fresh seafood, homestyle sides, and a New Orleans-style jazz brunch, Char will also feature live jazz performances in partnership with the Nashville Jazz Workshop. The restaurant will welcome guests for business lunches, nightly dinners, family brunches, special occasions, and more.
