Winstead Hill Park is located south of downtown Franklin, Tennessee on Columbia Avenue. Winstead Hill consists of 61 acres, and the Park offers a 3/4 mile walking trail, picnic tables, parking area, and restroom facilities. Winstead Hill Park has open spaces with tranquil wooded areas and is closed from dark until dawn. Admission to the 61-acre historic battle site is free, and interpretive signs provide many details on the Battle of Franklin and the role of Winstead Hill.
