BrightStone Land of Dreams is a 140-acre residential campus providing adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) the opportunity to live in a supportive community with in-home care and assistance. BrightStone is approved to build 18 homes on the campus, with each home providing four adults with IDD a place to call their own.
The first two homes opened in 2024, made possible through generous community donations and without government funding. Continued financial support will help BrightStone build additional homes and provide more families with residential options for their adult loved ones.
Also in 2024, BrightStone was selected by the Tennessee Governor as a Pilot Residential Program. The program allows BrightStone to offer adults with IDD residential options within a campus setting, making it the only organization in Middle Tennessee currently authorized by state law to provide this type of residential model.
BrightStone Land of Dreams is the first facility of its kind in Tennessee and serves as a model for innovative residential living for adults with IDD. Through community support, the campus continues to create opportunities for adults with disabilities to experience greater independence, connection, care, and a place to call home.
