The Collective Boutiques Plans July Opening in Former Painted Tree Franklin Space
A new vendor marketplace, The Collective Boutiques, is preparing to open in the former Painted Tree Boutiques space at 1113 Murfreesboro Road in Franklin, TN. According to social media posts, the Franklin location is expected to have a soft opening in July, with former Painted Tree vendors in Franklin being offered the opportunity to return to their previous spaces.
The store’s website currently lists the Franklin location as “opening soon” and invites vendors to apply for space.
The news comes just weeks after the sudden closure of Painted Tree Boutiques, a vendor marketplace where individual small businesses rented booths and operated their own retail spaces under one roof. The closure affected hundreds of vendors across multiple locations, including Franklin.
In response, Williamson, Inc. organized the Rooted in Community: Small Business Market at The Factory at Franklin in May. The event was created specifically to support vendors displaced by the closure, giving them an opportunity to reconnect with customers and continue selling while exploring their next steps.
For vendors still deciding what comes next, The Collective Boutiques could offer a more permanent path forward, especially for those who want to return to the same Franklin location where many had already built a customer base. Vendors interested in applying for space can visit The Collective Boutiques website and complete an application for the Franklin store.
