Franklin Celebrates Arbor Day April 18th, at Pinkerton Park
Franklin—Please join The Franklin Tree Commission and the City of Franklin Parks Department for tons of fun, kids’ activities, food, information and free tree saplings at Pinkerton Park in Franklin on Saturday, April 18, from 10am-Noon.
The Nashville Zoo will be there with some animal ambassadors, and the library will have a story time reading area. Also, there will be rescued raptors on site that people can see up close. The Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA) will have their wildlife trailer, and Middle Tennessee Electric will be serving free hot dogs.
