Franklin Rodeo Invites Community Support for 75th Anniversary Monument

The Franklin Rodeo is approaching a major milestone in 2026, marking 75 years of rodeo tradition and community support in Williamson County, TN. Franklin Rodeo 2026 will take place May 14–16 at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park in Franklin

As part of the anniversary, plans are underway for a new addition at Jim Warren Park: the Franklin Rodeo Plaza, which will include a permanent Cowboy and Saddle Bronc statue. The installation is intended to recognize the many people who have been part of the rodeo over the years, from organizers and volunteers to participants and attendees.

Produced by the Franklin Noon Rotary Club, the rodeo has served as a fundraiser since its start in 1949, contributing millions of dollars to local charities, schools, and nonprofit organizations. The new plaza will reflect both that history and the role the rodeo continues to play in the community.

The monument project is being supported through community contributions, with funds helping cover the cost of the statue and the development of the surrounding plaza space. The goal is to create a permanent feature that can be visited year-round and serve as a reminder of the rodeo’s long-standing connection to Franklin and Williamson County.
