About ELM Nashville
ELM Nashville, the newly opened event venue has roots that stretch back more than 160 years, originally built in 1860 as the historic Elm Street Methodist Church. Once a cornerstone of Nashville’s community life, the Italianate-style church hosted generations of gatherings, weddings, and celebrations, even counting Ryman Auditorium founder Thomas Ryman among its early congregation. After decades of varied use, the building has been carefully restored and reimagined by preservation partners and local designers, reopening in 2026 as a modern event space that honors its legacy as a place where people come together to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.
