CASS Contemporary announces third installment of “Paint It Forward: Vol. 3”
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 7, 2026) — CASS Contemporary, Nashville’s newest high-end art gallery located in the bustling neighborhood of Wedgewood-Houston, announces “Paint It Forward: Vol. 3,” the third installment of its signature exhibition celebrating community, mentorship and the spirit of giving back. Inspired by the concept of “paying it forward,” this exhibition is rooted in the belief that art thrives through connection, generosity and shared opportunity.
Opening to the public on Thursday, May 21, “Paint It Forward: Vol. 3” features artists from Nashville, from across the United States, and from international locations, representing a dynamic and globally influenced exhibition united under one purpose: community.
Curated by Jake Greatens, co-founder and artistic director of CASS, this year’s showcase brings together 22 artists from diverse backgrounds — 12 established artists who each select an emerging artist exhibited alongside them. The result is a series of powerful and intentional pairings that bridge experienced perspectives with fresh vantage points, honoring both artistic legacy and the next generation of creative voices.
