Set on a working farm in Spring Hill, the event runs in 2-hour timed sessions to keep things organized and enjoyable. Each ticket covers one vehicle, making it an economical option for families or groups arriving together. Once inside, guests will find much more than just eggs scattered across the grass.
The highlight, of course, is the egg hunt itself. Thousands of eggs are filled with treats, but some contain prize winnings like cash, gift cards to local restaurants and shops, and larger items, including flat screen TVs and a PlayStation 5. Every egg has something inside, but the prize eggs add an extra level of excitement.
To keep the experience fair and fun, hunts are divided by age group. Elementary-aged children (through 5th grade) and teens each have their own fields, so younger participants aren’t competing with older kids. There are also smaller toddler hunts during each session.

Easter Egg Helicopter Drop in Franklin

Hosted by Heritage Church of Christ, the annual Easter Egg Helicopter Drop invites families to watch thousands of eggs fall from the sky in a coordinated drop by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.
The main event happens at 11:45 am, when the helicopter makes its pass and releases eggs over the field.
Before and after the drop, there’s plenty to keep kids busy. The event includes games, face painting, a food truck, and even a fire truck to explore. Attendees will also have a chance to get a closer look at the Sheriff’s Office helicopter before it takes off for the drop.

Presented by Twice Daily, Eggstravaganzoo returns with a full day of activities, including scheduled egg hunts for different age groups, face painting, keeper talks, and themed animal enrichment throughout the zoo.
Egg hunts run throughout the day for children ages 12 and under, with designated times by age group and a final all-ages hunt at 5 pm. Every child receives a goodie bag, regardless of how many eggs they collect, and redemption tents are located near the hunt area.
This year, the zoo is also making a noticeable change to support conservation efforts. Guests may notice colorful wooden eggs included in the fields, which are used to help reduce plastic waste and limit microplastics in the environment. Visitors are asked to return any eggs after the hunt so they can be reused throughout the day.
In between hunts, families can explore the zoo, attend amphitheater shows, and catch special animal encounters along the walking paths. The event is included with general zoo admission or membership.
