Bridgerton Returns Tonight: Celebrate with Jeni’s Queen Charlotte Sponge Cake & Ice Cream for Breakfast Day

Bridgerton returns to our screens tonight, and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is celebrating the occasion with a flavor worthy of the ton.

Available now, Queen Charlotte Sponge Cake is scooping in Jeni’s shops in Franklin, Brentwood and Nashville, and available in pints online, timed to the return of the hit series. Inspired by the elegance and indulgence of Her Majesty herself, the flavor channels a Victoria sponge meets Princess Cake — with bright berries, soft sponge, and custard notes — all wrapped up in a lavender-tinted scoop fit for the Queen.

Next week, Jeni’s shifts the celebration from the drawing room to the breakfast table.

On February 7, Jeni’s marks the return of Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, the cult-favorite holiday that encourages guests to show up in pajamas, grab a spoon, and start the day sweet. Scoop shops will open early at 9 AM local time, featuring:

  • The debut of a newly reimagined House Coffee flavor — sweet, robust, and velvety-smooth, made with direct trade coffee from Verve Coffee Roasters and layered for depth, brightness, and aroma

  • The return of Maple Soaked Pancakes, a nostalgic breakfast classic made with real Vermont maple syrup and salted buttercream (available in shops for a limited time)

  • Special breakfast-inspired menu pairings to guide the ultimate morning scoop

  • In-shop surprises, including kids’ activity sheets, stickers, and festive extras

  • A chance to win free ice cream and coffee for a year — guests can enter by signing up for Jeni’s app and scanning in-shop as part of the Ice Cream for Breakfast Day giveaway

About Ice Cream for Breakfast Day:
The holiday dates back to the 1960s, when Florence Rappaport declared it “Ice Cream for Breakfast Day” to entertain her six kids. Jeni’s embraced the tradition — firmly believing ice cream should be enjoyed before noon — and now leads the nationwide celebration each year.

Then, just in time for the second half of the season…

On February 12, Jeni’s will debut its second Bridgerton-themed flavor Earl Grey Crème Brûlée in scoop shops (online beginning February 9), transforming the classic afternoon tea ritual into ice cream form. Fragrant Earl Grey is steeped into a silky custard base and finished with burnt-sugar candies that echo the crackle of a freshly torched crème brûlée — a fitting treat as Bridgerton’s next chapter unfolds.
