Nashville Electric Service launches Insulation for Impact Initiative for 80 Homes

Applications are now open for NES’ Insulation for Impact initiative, a grant providing financial assistance for attic insulation and installation for 80 homes across the NES service territory. The initiative is made possible through NES’s partnership with Metro Nashville, the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and NeedLink Nashville. The goal of the initiative is to enhance energy efficiency and comfort for residents at no cost.
Both homeowners and renters (with the owner’s written permission) of single-family dwellings may apply. Insulation for Impact is an income-based program, and income criteria are based on the number of people living in the home. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will receive a free home energy assessment to identify opportunities for energy savings.
