Jen’s Ice Creams Teams Up With Goose on a Limited-Edition Flavor

A flavor as immersive as a live show, Goose Tracks launches on June 24.

FRANKLIN, TN (June 10, 2025) – You know that feeling when your favorite band takes the stage and time stops? Everything else falls away, you’re wholly present and in the moment, engaged with what’s happening right now, connected with those around you, and you feel fully alive. Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams’ latest limited-edition flavor is a celebration of that exact feeling, inspired by the beloved American band, Goose.

Goose Tracks is a riff on a nostalgic classic black raspberry chip. Except Jeni’s made it bolder by swapping black raspberries for juicier, more flavorful berries, including red raspberries and blackberries, and layering in bittersweet chocolate flakes. It’s both nostalgic and new, like hearing your favorite song played live for the first time.

“On a Venn diagram comparing Jeni’s and Goose, where the circles overlap would be called Things That Bring People Together and Make People Feel Good,” said Ryan Morgan, Jeni’s Head of Brand. “Music and ice cream are two of life’s greatest connectors. A live Goose show is about the joy of the moment and sparking the type of emotional connection that only comes through shared presence in real life. A Jeni’s experience is about the same thing.”

Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream Goose Tracks is available at scoop shops in Franklin, Brentwood and Nashville, TN.

Goose, known for their expansive live sets, genre-bending sound, and passionate fanbase, is having a major moment, embarking on a national tour, releasing new music, hosting their own festival, and headlining their first-ever show at Madison Square Garden. “This was a really fun collab,” said Cotter Ellis of Goose. “We are big fans of Jeni’s ice cream, what they stand for, and how they source their ingredients. We hope our fans enjoy Goose Tracks!”

The pint artwork for Goose Tracks was designed by illustrator Brian Blomerth, the same artist who did the cover art for Goose’s newest album, Everything Must Go. A limited-edition screen-printed poster designed by Blomerth will also be available to commemorate the release.

Starting June 24, fans can find Goose Tracks in Jeni’s scoop shops in Franklin, Brentwood and Nashville, Tennessee, and online at jenis.com.

About Goose

Goose is an American rock band known for its genre-blending sound, improvisational live performances, and dedicated fan base. The band is Rick Mitarotonda (vocals, guitar), Peter Anspach (vocals, keys, guitar), Trevor Weekz (bass), and Cotter Ellis (vocals, drums). Their music — a deft union of indie-rock hooks, sprawling improvisation, and driving rhythm — has propelled them from performing in Connecticut basements to headlining some of the most revered stages in the country. Known for their strong DIY ethos, Goose has grown organically through relentless touring and utilizing platforms like YouTube, Bandcamp, and nugs.net to share live performances and connect with fans.

Goose’s latest release, Everything Must Go is the first release since 2022’s critically acclaimed Dripfield. Everything Must Go marks the band’s evolution since its inception in 2014. Drawing from the feel of its live performances, the album features a carnivalesque cast of characters — primarily songs written throughout the band’s recent years of growth, including re-imagined live staples and songs that capture the band’s evolving, dynamic sound.

Since their earliest days recording 2016’s Moon Cabin in a barn in northern New Hampshire, Goose has been developing their unique approach to writing and improvising, achieving a rare balance between thoughtfully crafted songs, tight musicianship, and emotional honesty. 2022 saw the release of their critically acclaimed third LP, Dripfield. That album earned them #2 on Billboard’s “Top New Artist Albums” chart as well as praise from Rolling Stone, who called it “both sweet headphone ear candy and the foundation for a perfect live peak.” The accolades were yet another feather in the band’s cap, having sold out venues like Radio City Music Hall, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Forest Hills Stadium, and headlined Madison Square Garden in the summer of 2025, performed on the likes of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, CBS Saturday Morning, and played their share of iconic music fests, including Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Austin City Limits Music Festival, and many more. Through their commitment to forward momentum, Goose continues to remind us that music isn’t simply played—it’s felt, lived, and shared.
