Whataburger to Open First Brentwood Location in Maryland Farms
Whataburger is bringing its popular burgers, fries, and signature sauces to Brentwood, Tennessee with a new location set to open at 5004 Maryland Way. The restaurant will occupy the former Back Yard Burgers building in the Maryland Farms area. While an official opening date has not been announced, signage is already in place, and preparations are underway.
This will be the first Whataburger in Williamson County and will join the brand’s growing list of Middle Tennessee locations, which currently include Antioch, Smyrna, Murfreesboro, and Hermitage. Founded in 1950 in Corpus Christi, Texas, Whataburger has become known for its made-to-order burgers, breakfast menu, and distinctive orange-and-white branding.
The Brentwood Planning Commission approved plans for the location in spring 2024. Renovations include an ADA-compliant ramp, updated signage, and minimal changes to the building’s existing structure.
