Van Leeuwen Ice Cream to Open Edgehill Village Scoop Shop March 13

The NYC born and nationally beloved brand selects Nashville for Southeast debut

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, the NYC born and nationally beloved brand known for its made-from-scratch dairy and vegan ice cream, has announced the opening of its Edgehill Village scoop shop on Thursday, March 13. Located at 1200 Villa Place, the Nashville location is the first in the brand’s recently announced expansion into the Southeast, which also includes openings in Florida (Miami, West Palm Beach and Delray), Georgia (Atlanta) and North Carolina (Charlotte) in 2025. A second Nashville location has been confirmed for Germantown inside Neuhoff at 1316 Adams St., Ste 111, expected to open later this year.

“We’re so excited for Nashville to be the home of our first scoop shop in the Southeast,” said Ben Van Leeuwen, co-founder and CEO. “I’ve been visiting for years and have grown to love this city for its amazing food, Southern hospitality and vibrant community. We can’t wait to share good ice cream made with good ingredients – and I hope to scoop you some Honeycomb or Pistachio, two of my favorites!”

For the debut of its first Southeast scoop shop, Van Leeuwen has partnered with another iconic dessert brand synonymous with Nashville, Goo Goo Cluster, to offer a specialty sundae during the grand opening on March 13. Additionally, opening day customers can enjoy $1 scoops between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., and the first 100 customers in line will receive free, limited-edition Van Leeuwen totes.

The Edgehill Village store will feature more than 30 of the brand’s signature flavors, including Honeycomb, Pistachio (made with pistachios sourced from Mount Etna in Sicily), Praline Butter Cake and Earl Grey Tea (made with Rishi Tea), along with custom sundaes, handmade ice cream sandwiches, root beer floats, milkshakes and pints to-go. An extensive selection of Van Leeuwen’s famed vegan flavors, such as Churros & Fudge and Peanut Butter Brownie Honeycomb, will also be available.

Van Leeuwen Edgehill is located at 1200 Villa Place, Ste 113 and will be open daily Sunday – Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday – Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight. On Thursday, March 13 the shop will open at 12 p.m. For more information on Van Leeuwen, follow the brand on Instagram @vanleeuwenicecream or visit www.vanleeuwenicecream.com.
