Davis House Child Advocacy Center Announces Annual Button Ball September 7th at The Factory

Davis House is thrilled to announce that our annual Button Ball 2024 will be held this year at the Factory at Franklin on September 7th. Join us for a glamorous evening of dining, live band, and donations – all to support a great cause! Our 18th Button Ball will be chaired by Darci Caesar. The evening will feature fun and meaning – all while raising money to provide services to children and their families struggling with sexual and significant physical abuse, or some other form of trauma. Davis House promises an experience you’ll talk about long after the evening is over.

The name Button Ball derives from the story of our “Button Jar.” After their forensic interview, each child chooses a unique button that represents them and places it in the jar, which holds the thousands of buttons of children we have served in the past. The jar is inscribed with “You Are Not Alone”—a message we think is crucial for their healing journey. Your participation at Button Ball directly impacts the lives of those thousands of children.

Presented by our Premier Sponsor Primrose Schools of Cool Springs & East Franklin, the evening will include a cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres, a bourbon grab, an elegant dinner from Catering & Events By Suzette, dancing, and silent and live auctions. Our keynote speaker will be Jessica Willis Fisher sharing her inspiring personal story and playing live music.

Funds raised provide investigative and healing services to children and their families who are facing sexual and significant physical abuse. These services include Forensic Interviewing, Child & Family Advocacy, Trauma-Focused Counseling, Case Management, and Prevention Trainings.
