Studio Tenn Announces Surprise, One-Of-A-Kind Performance By “Seinfeld” Star Jason Alexander
Tickets for Exclusive Event at Turner Theater Available Starting October 20, 2023
FRANKLIN, TENN. – Studio Tenn will welcome Jason Alexander – the Tony, Emmy, Grammy and SAG Award-winning actor best known for playing George Costanza in “Seinfeld” – to Turner Theater at The Factory at Franklin on November 5, 2023, for a performance of his critically acclaimed show “As Long As You’re Asking: A Conversation with Jason Alexander.”
Tickets for the surprise event, which will serve as a fundraiser for the nonprofit theatre company, are exclusively reserved for Studio Tenn season ticket holders and donors. Those eligible will receive an email with a link to purchase tickets at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2023.
Community members can ensure their eligibility by purchasing a season ticket package or becoming a Studio Tenn donor prior to the on-sale date. Limited packages remain for the organization’s inaugural season at Turner Theater – its new performance home at The Factory at Franklin set to open October 19, 2023.
“Having someone of Jason Alexander’s caliber perform for our audience in Middle Tennessee is exactly what Studio Tenn sets out to do year after year,” said Patrick Cassidy, Studio Tenn’s Artistic Director. “Our team is thrilled to treat ticket holders to once-in-a-lifetime performances from some of the most remarkable names in the business, and now, to do so at Turner Theater – our new performance home – is a dream come true.”
“As Long As You’re Asking: A Conversation with Jason Alexander” is an evening of comedy, music and conversation with a twist: the audience determines what they want to know the most. Alexander will present a variety of topics for the audience to choose from, culminating in behind-the-scenes stories of his life, career and social activism.
Alexander has starred on Broadway, in hit films like “Pretty Woman” and “Shallow Hal” and, of course, on the beloved TV series “Seinfeld.” He is an actor, director, producer, writer, children’s book author, award-winning magician, semi-pro poker player and social-political activist. It’s all on the table, and the conversation is completely in the audience’s control, making for a truly unique event.
Studio Tenn’s season ticket holders and donors will be notified via email when tickets for “As Long As You’re Asking: A Conversation with Jason Alexander” go on sale on October 20, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Prices start at $100. A Photo Op & Show Package will be available for purchase, giving a limited number of attendees the ability to participate in a photo opportunity with Alexander.
