Fourth Capital Expands Commercial Banking Team with Addition of Lucas Harrison as Vice President Commercial Relationship Manager

Leading Middle Tennessee community bank hires local banker as VP to be a part of its commercial relationship business to strengthen presence in the region.

Nashville, Tenn. (October 9, 2023) – Fourth Capital, a leading community bank in Middle Tennessee, has announced that Lucas Harrison will join the team as vice president (VP) and commercial relationship manager. Prior to joining Fourth Capital, Harrison served as relationship manager at FirstBank.

“Lucas has a proven track record of working successfully with business throughout our communities which positions him as an invaluable asset to Fourth Capital as we look to grow our commercial business across Middle Tennessee,” said David McDaniel, President and Chief Banking Officer of Fourth Capital. “We are thrilled to have Lucas on board during a pivotal time  for Fourth Capital.”

The hiring comes a month after Gaylon Lawrence, Jr., announced plans to merge Fourth Capital Bank into Volunteer State Bank. In August, Lawrence announced this merger, designed to enhance the service footprint for bank customers and extend its reach and impact throughout Middle Tennessee. Both banks are privately held by Lawrence.

Harrison’s previous roles included a series of positions, including customer relationship specialist, at Franklin Synergy Bank. Harrison earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
