Bluebird on the Mountain Concert (Sept. 9th)

The Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory will be hosting a Bluebird on the Mountain Concert in Brentwood this Saturday at 7pm, with top songwriters from Bluebird Café playing their greatest hits and even sharing the stories behind some songs! You are invited to picnic atop one of the highest hilltops in the area and experience a night of music under the stars!

 

Chip in for Lung Cancer (Sept. 8th)

The Huff Project’s 4th Annual Chip in for Lung Cancer Golf Tournament will take place at Franklin Bridge Golf Club with tee times at 8am and 1pm on September 8th. The Huff Project is a local non-profit that aims to fund lung cancer research as well as spread awareness.

Taste & Tour at Morning Glory Orchard (Sept. 8th)

Morning Glory Orchard will be hosting a Taste & Tour this Friday evening at 5:30pm. You are invited to sip on your choice of slushie while enjoying a guided tour through the orchard, where you will learn more about this family farm before gathering for a tasting of a variety of food and drink! 

 

FrankTown Fundraising Dinner (Sept. 8)

FrankTown Open Hearts’ Annual Fundraising Dinner, “Putting Down Roots”, will be held at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs on September 8th at 5:30pm. This event raises funds for FrankTown Open Hearts’ mission of supporting Franklin’s at-risk youth and features dinner, auctions, live music from Rubiks Groove, and dancing.

Farmers Markets (Sept. 9th)

These weekly farmers markets provide the perfect opportunity to support your local farmers, kitchens, and artisans! 

  • You can find The Franklin Farmers Market every Saturday morning behind The Factory at Franklin with numerous vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, handcrafted items, and local art.
  • The Nolensville Farmers Market will be taking place every Saturday from 8am-12pm at the Historic Nolensville School. Local farmers and artisans will offer fresh, seasonal foods and unique crafts! 

 

Bark n’ Splash Bash (Sept. 9th)

Williamson County Parks & Recreation will be partnering with the Williamson County Animal Center for their 5th Annual Bark n’ Splash Bash at the Longview Recreation Center on September 9th from 9-11:30am. This event raises money for the Williamson County Animal Center and features a day of dog paddles and play!

Grandparent’s Day at Harpeth True Value (Sept. 9th)

Harpeth True Value invites you to celebrate Grandparent’s Day with them this Saturday from 10am- 2pm! Activities include painting and decorating your own wooden picture frame before grandparents and grandchildren take a polaroid photograph together that will fit perfectly into your brand new frame! 

 

Chukkers for Charity (Sept. 9th)

The 27th Annual Chukkers for Charity will take place this Saturday afternoon at Riverview Farm from 2-5pm. This charity polo match was organized by dedicated volunteers and will benefit Rochelle Center and Saddle Up!’s missions of supporting those with disabilities.

Pickin’ in the Park (Sept. 9th)

Pickin’ in the Park is Spring Hill’s monthly outdoor music series, taking place from May to October. This free, family-friendly event features live music from local musicians and food from local food trucks! This month’s event will take place on Saturday at 5:30pm, so pack your chairs and blankets to enjoy some live entertainment with the Spring Hill community! 

 

Farm-to-Table Dinner at GratiDude Ranch (Sept. 9th)

GratiDude Ranch in Franklin will be hosting a Farm-to-Table Dinner with Chef Brayden Apple of River Cottage Farm this Saturday evening from 5:30- 8:30pm. This delicious 5-course meal includes fresh food made from locally sourced ingredients as well as wine pairings, craft drinks, and live music!

Music in the Meadow (Sept. 9th)

Music in the Meadow is a fall concert series in Brentwood at Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary, and this year’s first installment will take place on Saturday from 5:30-8:30pm. This evening of music will feature local singer/songwriter Bill Lloyd as well as other musical guests! You are invited to bring your own food and supplies for a picnic under the stars in support of Owl’s Hill’s mission of providing a safe space for over 2,000 local species.

 

American Heroes Concert: 80s Night (Sept. 9th)

The American Heroes Concert: 80’s Night will be held at Liberty Hall in The Factory at Franklin this Saturday at 6pm. Benefiting We Are Building Lives and their mission to support Nashville veterans in need, this nostalgic fundraising event includes dinner, drinks, auctions, an 80’s dance party, a costume contest, arcade games, and more!

The Smashing Pumpkins (Sept. 8th): The Smashing Pumpkins will be stopping by FirstBank Amphitheater this Friday at 6:30pm!

Mandy Barnett (Sept. 8th): Mandy Barnett will be performing at The Franklin Theatre and celebrating Patsy Cline’s birthday this Friday at 8pm! 

Music City Stones (Sept. 9th): The Music City Stones is a Rolling Stones Tribute Band that will be playing at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center this Saturday at 7pm! 

Coy Roy (Sept. 9th): Coy Roy will be performing at The Franklin Theatre this Saturday at 8pm! 

Outlaw Music Festival (Sept. 10th): The Outlaw Music Festival will be making a stop at FirstBank Amphitheater this Sunday at 5:30pm, with Willie Nelson headlining!  

KT Tunstall (Sept. 10th): KT Tunstall will be playing at The Franklin Theatre this Sunday at 8pm!
