HERITAGE FOUNDATION HOSTS LUNCHEON FOR PAST CHAIRS, KINGS AND QUEENS
FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, TN held a luncheon celebrating fifty years of the past chairs and Kings and Queens of the Heritage Ball at Southall Meadows. The 50th Annual Heritage Ball will be held at Eastern Flank Battlefield Park on Saturday, October 7.
Event designer Amos Gott created a lemon inspired luncheon as a nod to the 50th anniversary of the ball that will feature hints of gold. Guests were greeted with a glass of champagne accompanied by music from a trio of classic string instruments playing pop music on the balcony level overlooking the luncheon.
Cater 615 prepared a summer menu trio plate with Four Cheese & Herb Quiche topped with local fresh tomato and basil relish, Lemon and broccoli Caesar salad, Southern Chicken and Pecan Salad, a bread basket of focaccia, sweet Muffins and Lemon Butter. For dessert, Lemon Ricotta Bundt Cake with fresh berries and lavender whip was served.
Lemon tree topiaries topped each table in a fresh and festive abundance. Remarks were made by Bari Beasley, President and CEO of the Heritage Foundation and Board of Directors Chair David Garrett. Longtime supporter and Honorary Co-Chair of the ball Danny Anderson reflected on the history of the ball, as he has attended the ball 49 years.
The Heritage Ball is the longest running black-tie affair in Williamson County. Each year, more than 800 guests gather to support and celebrate the work of the Heritage Foundation and to raise funds for future preservation projects. In addition to a seated dinner and dancing, the ball features a cocktail hour and other fundraising opportunities.
