MATTHEW WALKER COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH CENTER HOSTS BABY SHOWER FOR EXPECTING AND RECENT MOTHERS
Mommy to “Bee” Baby Shower to take place April 28 at Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center
April 26, 2023 – Nashville, TN – Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center (MWCHC), Nashville’s oldest non-profit medical center, is excited for the return of their Mommy to “Bee” Baby Shower. The event will take place Friday, April 28, at Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center. The event is free, and attendees can RSVP by calling 615-340-3860 or emailing Angela Jones (angela.jones2@mwchc.org).
The Mommy to “Bee” Baby Shower is an annual event for expecting mothers and those who gave birth in the past six months. Featuring free education sessions, prize giveaways and refreshments, this free event provides everything new mothers need to start off on the right foot.
Featured vendors during this year’s baby shower include Nashville Diaper Connection, Stork’s Nest, Nashville Strong Babies, the Davidson County WIC Program, Tennessee Breast & Cervical Screening Program, and many more.
Education sessions include information about pediatric health (led by Kinara Byrd, NP), mental health (led by Dr. Cynthia Jackson), nutrition (led by Emily Germer, Registered Dietitian), and more.
