The Skylight bar officially opens inside The Factory at Franklin’s new Grand Hall
FRANKLIN, Tenn. (April 17, 2023) — The Skylight bar, located inside the newly built Grand Hall at The Factory at Franklin, in downtown Franklin, is now open and serving signature cocktails and other thoughtfully curated beverages on weekdays from noon until 10 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 11 a.m.
Over 250 guests were among The Skylight’s inaugural patrons at a sold-out “Sip & Sample” grand opening celebration on Saturday evening.
They enjoyed eight signature cocktails paired with more than two dozen small plates created by The Factory’s dining partners, including:

“The Factory at Franklin is rooted in community, and The Skylight will continue its proud tradition of bringing neighbors together in an iconic, welcoming space,” said Allen Arender, partner and senior vice president of development at Holladay Properties.
The Skylight’s distinctly industrial design honors The Factory’s 94-year history with a mix of simple, raw aesthetics. A ring of opaque glass panes mimicking The Factory’s original clerestory windows surrounds the bar’s rounded countertop.
Two of the establishment’s signature cocktails also pay tribute to the property’s industrial past, including Quittin’ Thyme, made with gin and thyme-infused honey, and The Potbelly, composed of a rye and Scotch base with an infused demerara syrup.
Recent changes at The Factory at Franklin allow guests to enjoy beverages purchased from any restaurant tenant, including The Skylight, in all of the property’s common areas.
Originally constructed in 1929, The Factory helped Williamson County, Tennessee residents survive the Great Depression and build a thriving local economy.
Holladay Properties purchased the property in 2021 and quickly began major renovations to transform the 20-acre site into a reimagined community landmark offering first-class retail, dining, and live entertainment options.
