Five actors play multiple roles with minimal set and props, demonstrating the clarity and power of Shakespeare’s poetry from three of his most popular works. Shine your light youth vocal competition in Franklin, Tennessee.

The Ray of Light Foundation presents the 2023 Shine Your Light Youth Vocal Competition. Raymond Marcial Cruz valiantly fought a battle with Stage 4 Ewing-like Sarcoma from 2017-2019. Throughout his battle, he was given the opportunity to share his message of hope with people through his music, from the hallways of Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital to the stage of the Ryman. Ray and his mother, Blandina, started the Shine Your Light Youth Vocal Competition in 2019 to raise funds for the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital where Ray received his treatments. The Shine Your Light Youth Vocal Competition is one of the main annual fundraisers for the Ray of Light Foundation. Youth all around Middle Tennessee audition to compete in this event, with all proceeds going to the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital to help the Raymond M. Cruz Palliative Care for Bereaved Caregivers and their Families. The competition will take place Sunday, April 30, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at www.wcpactn.com. All About Joel Franklin, TN Performance_Williamson County Performing Arts Center

The first weekend in May, the WCPAC presents David Clark’s All About Joel: Billy Joel Tribute! This musical tribute to Billy Joel is presented with a tremendous amount of detail by Long Island veteran singer/piano player David Clark. The show continues to gain popularity across the country with stunningly accurate piano playing, lead vocals, and an eerily similar stage look to the Piano Man himself while engaging the audience with wit and humor. Come spend an afternoon with us as we pay tribute to this legendary artist and hear all his greatest hits. The performance will take place Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 for Adults and $27.50 for Seniors (55 and up). Tickets can be purchased at www.wcpactn.com.
