Factory District Community Workshop

Public Meeting Open to All

Franklin—As part of the five-year update to Envision Franklin, the City of Franklin is holding a community workshop on February 16, 2023, focused on the concept of a ‘Factory District’ for the area surrounding the Factory at Franklin. The purpose of the workshop will be to engage property owners, residents, and the broader community to establish a desired vision for the area around the Factory.

At the workshop, the City will seek feedback on placemaking that could include streetscape enhancements along Liberty Pike between Franklin Road and the railroad tracks, connectivity to Harpeth Industrial Court, encouragement of public art installations, outdoor gathering spaces, and other design elements that would complement the area. It will also include considering additional land uses for the district and the potential boundary for the conceptualized district.

The resulting vision will be incorporated into the Envision Franklin update, which will provide guidance for future development and land uses in this area. The community workshop will take place at:

The Factory- Liberty Hall

230 Franklin Rd, Franklin, TN 37064

February 16th, 2023 @ 5:30 -7 PM

The meeting will be facilitated by the consultant team, Rundell Ernstberger and Associates (REA) and the City of Franklin Planning and Sustainability Department.
