Fall Color Hikes (Oct. 29)

Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary is holding their series of Fall Color Hikes every Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. until Nov. 12! Veteran trail guides Denis Lovell and Richard Hitt will lead you through this moderately difficult walk as you observe the progression of fall. This guided walk is for ages 15+ and minors must be accompanied by an adult. For $12 you can reserve your spot and experience the colors of fall at Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary! 

 

PumpkinFest (Oct. 29)

The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County’s 37th Annual PumpkinFest returns this Saturday! With more than 70,000 people attending in 2021 and located on Main Street in Downtown Franklin, this fall festival offers autumn-inspired food and drink, live music, and countless activities! Over 150 vendors will be lining the streets, along with several restaurants and shops located downtown joining in on the festivities. Equipped with a KidZone, a whiskey lounge, interactive experiences, live entertainment, and costume contests for both people and pets, PumpkinFest will be sure to show you why it’s the largest family fall festival in Middle Tennessee!

 

Brentwood Beer & Wine Festival (Oct. 29)

The Brentwood Beer & Wine Festival is back! With over 30 craft beers to sample as well as a selection of wines, food trucks, local vendors, and live music from Jake Burman & Co., this event offers an afternoon of fun with friends and family! The festival grounds cover 3 acres and include a covered pavilion, a sand volleyball court, and lawn games provided by Games To Go Nashville and Music City Axe. Proceeds from the Brentwood Beer & Wine Festival support the ACE Foundation to help create Catholic schools in the Diocese of Nashville. Ticket options include a $20 designated driver wristband, a $50 general admission ticket, and a $100 VIP experience. 

 

Fall Festival (Oct. 29)

Graceland Church will be hosting their fall festival on Saturday from 1 p.m.- 4 p.m.! Everything is free including the food, drinks, and festivities! Activities include bounce houses, hayrides, a petting zoo, RC car racing, and pumpkin decorating. With booths for balloon animals and face painting as well as candy, games, and prizes, Graceland Church’s Fall Festival is the place to be for some free and festive family fun!

 

Family Camp Out (Oct. 29-30)

Join Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary for this one-night-only family camping experience! Activities include roasting marshmallows, an owl presentation, a guided night hike, and a take-home craft. Gates will open for families to start setting up camp at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and activities will start at 6 p.m.. Check out will be at 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning after a light breakfast. Costing $80 per tent (up to 4 family members per tent), this overnight event is for ages 6+. Make sure to eat dinner beforehand and bring your own tent, s’mores, and camping chairs! 

 

Americana Creekside (Oct. 30)

Wines in the Fork’s second Americana Creekside concert is taking place this Sunday! From 12 p.m.- 5:30 p.m., you can enjoy the sounds of musical artists A Tale of Two, firekid, Mandy McCauley, and The Deltaz. Head over to Wines in the Forks Sunday afternoon to join in on this Leiper’s Fork tradition of authentic American Roots Music.
