Living in Franklin just became even more desirable. SouthBrooke, a new community of beautiful homes, is under construction in a bucolic area along Lewisburg Pike. Surrounded by lots of open spaces, mature trees and scenic rolling hills, this exclusive 75-acre community will feature 205 home sites ranging from townhomes to single-family homes.

“The setting is very peaceful with green views surrounding the property,” says Chesney Ford, sales manager at Ford Classic Homes in Franklin, which is developing and building the community. “We neighbor the Franklin Hardeman house, a historic home built in 1835, and our goal is to honor the history of the area with our design.”

To blend in nicely with this timeless setting, these homes are designed in a classic architectural style. And, no two homes will look exactly alike. “Each home has distinctive characteristics that help make this community unique,” she says. “The array of property types and architecture will give it a true community feel.”

Homes range from 2,500 square feet to 4,000 plus square feet with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths to 4 – 5 bedrooms and 4 plus baths. “There’s going to be a lot of options for buyers, so they can find what works for them,” says Chesney. Primary bedrooms, along with main living areas, are on the first floor.

Outside, residents will be able to enjoy scenic walking trails and pocket parks for relaxing. The community amenity center will feature a gorgeous pool, cabana, and patio for grilling. There will also be pickleball and tennis courts, and a playground for children.

“Ford Classic Homes is the developer and the builder of the community, so we have a lot of ownership in maintaining the standard of the look and feel of the community and matching our vision for it,” she says. “I foresee it as a very active community with people out walking and getting to know their neighbors. The lifestyle you get in a community like this is one you don’t get everywhere.”

SouthBrooke will consist of two sections – The Villages at SouthBrooke, which is now under construction, and the Meadows at SouthBrooke, which will be coming in 2023. In addition to SouthBrooke, Ford Classic Homes has begun development on another community on the opposite side of Lewisburg Pike, SouthVale.

SouthVale will offer an additional 500-plus units and an even larger scale amenity center that can be used by homeowners in both communities. “The big feature of SouthVale is going to be a 142-acre natural reserve park complete with walking trails that will be exclusive to homeowners in SouthBrooke and SouthVale,” says Chesney. “We project this to be a 10-to-15-year project by the time it’s all done.”

Three model homes are open to tour and real estate agents will be on site daily from 12pm – 5pm. SouthbrookeTN.com
