Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee’s Red Door Bash returns to celebrate local leaders making an impact on the cancer community
NASHVILLE, TENN. – August 2, 2022– Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee will host its biggest fundraiser of the year, the 2022 Red Door Bash, on September 21 at the Omni Hotels & Resorts Nashville. Hosted by WSMV’s Carley Gordon, the annual event will celebrate another year of free cancer support for individuals and families in 15 Middle Tennessee counties, as well as honor a group of community leaders and volunteers for their extraordinary impact.
Those being honored at the 2022 Red Door Bash include:
- Corporate Vision Award: Zander Insurance Group, David Lewis and Jeff Zander
- Gail Addlestone Community Building Award: Terry and Julie Bulger
- Red Door Champion Award: Lori Weitzel
- Shining Star Award: Tod Roadarmel, Omni Hotels & Resorts Nashville
This year’s Red Door Bash will also feature duo Bowen Young. Who, after rave reviews from the 2022 Songwriter’s Night, will be returning for an ‘encore’ performance for the gala attendees. Bowen Young’s debut single, ‘Skeletons’ will be available everywhere September 9th.

The event will open with a reception and silent auction, followed by a three-course dinner, an opportunity to hear from a Gilda’s Club member in the form of a “Member Moment” and an awards program. The Red Door Bash Committee Co-Chairs, Gretchen Goldstein and Erica Jacobs have set out with the task of making this year’s silent auction the biggest yet.
“Last year’s silent auction broke all records, so naturally, we set out in 2022 to offer MORE fabulous vacation homes, art, spirits, unique experiences, and one-of-a-kind Nashville treats for this year,” said Goldstein, “There is something for everyone at every price point. The Red Door Bash Committee of fourteen amazing event planners have been working for months to make this year special and memorable.”
The Red Door Bash generates 20% of Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee’s operating expenses and all donations immediately impact and improve the lives of people with cancer and their families.
