For every minute spent organizing, an hour is earned.–Benjamin Franklin

Williamson County native, Kemble Land, has always had a passion for organizing. After years of assisting top executives, she listened to the advice of family and friends and decided to start her own business. She traded in organizing travel & calendars for organizing homes and helping clients create functional spaces that make their everyday life more productive.

Simply Contained is a full-service, professional organizing company. Kemble puts those skills to great use by helping individuals and families bring order to their homes. She organizes everything from closets and pantries to whole kitchens, offices, and playrooms.

“To see the look on someone’s face when I reveal the organized space is just priceless,” said Kemble. “To know that I have helped someone, relieved their stress, and created something that will make their life easier, feels absolutely amazing each and every time. My ultimate goal is to create a system that is functional and something families can maintain after I leave.” Kemble states that whether she’s helping her clients reclaim their space, set-up their new home, or creating organizational systems for them, being organized will create a home that is functional and allow time for what is important to her clients.

Now that the holiday season is upon us, it can get chaotic. Here are a few of Kemble’s tips to get us organized for the holidays and create a bit of calm in the chaos.

  1. Discard any decor you haven’t used in a couple of years. If it’s in good shape, donate it to a local charity so someone else can enjoy it.
  2. Protect your holiday decor. Shop the many great storage solutions available for ornaments, garlands, and wreaths. Store sentimental ornaments with care in containers with individual compartments. No individual wrapping is required! If you only purchase one new storage item this holiday season, buy one of these and thank me later.
  3. A fun way to organize your gift wrapping supplies is with a gift wrap cart. They don’t take up a lot of space, and you can customize it to fit your needs. I like to keep a Christmas cart and add another cart for special occasions like Birthday, Wedding, and Baby. Everything you need will be right at your fingertips!
