CBS New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash to be broadcasted nationally for the first time in the event’s history
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 22, 2021) – Skydeck on Broadway, the expansive rooftop bar and entertainment venue at Assembly Food Hall, will be a host stage for the nationally televised CBS NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE: NASHVILLE’S BIG BASH on Friday, Dec. 31. Country music’s hottest stars will ring in the new year with Skydeck guests on downtown Nashville’s largest rooftop bar and entertainment venue.
Skydeck on Broadway will offer a premium Nashville New Year’s Eve experience by partnering with the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp (NCVC) for the annual end-of-year celebration. This year, CBS has teamed up with NCVC to ring in the year across multiple stages in Music City.
“New Year’s Eve in Music City has become a major event and celebration, rivaling New Year’s Eve in Time Square, not only for Nashvillians, but for guests from around the world,” said Cari Hallman, Director of Marketing for The Food Hall Co., parent company of Assembly Food Hall. “We are excited to introduce Skydeck on Broadway on this national stage as we offer an intimate experience to one of the city’s biggest annual celebrations.”

Across several stages in Nashville, CBS NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE: NASHVILLE’S BIG BASH will feature performances from Jason Aldean, Jimmie Allen, Kelsea Ballerini, Gabby Barrett, Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Elle King, Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Cole Swindell, Zac Brown Band with additional artists to be announced at a later date.
Tickets for the New Year’s Eve event at Skydeck will be $125 per person for General Admission standing room only and includes a “Welcome” cocktail plus a Midnight Champagne Toast. A limited number of tickets are available for purchase.
Skydeck on Broadway is located on Level 3 of Assembly Hall, the massive dining and entertainment destination at Fifth + Broadway. The rooftop venue offers five bars, a 30’ x 23’ stage in front of a 20-foot screen and two mezzanines for the VIP experience. The main live show for New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash will be at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, anchored by headliners Dierks Bentley and Zac Brown Band and hosted by radio and TV personality Bobby Bones and co-hosted by Rachel Smith of “Entertainment Tonight. The Bicentennial Mall concert is open to the public. The five-hour CBS broadcast will cross multiple time zones, with the traditional countdown at midnight, ET, culminating with the renowned Nashville Music Note Drop® and two-minutes of fireworks at midnight, CT. This year’s celebration marks the first time for Music City to anchor an entire New Year’s Eve national TV special.
