THERAPEUTIC RECREATION ACTIVITIES OFFERED AT LOCAL RECREATION FACILITIES

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department’s (WCPR) Therapeutics Division hosts a variety of recreation programs for children, adolescents, young adults and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities at recreation centers in Franklin and Nolensville.

Programs include the return of Fitness Fun, Miscellaneous Mondays and Recreation Nights at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd.; a monthly “Friendsday Wednesday” social program for ages 17 and up at the Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville, 7250 Nolensville Rd.; plus a monthly “Friday Fun Day” offsite activity for ages 17 to feature a trip to AMC’s Thoroughbred Theater in Franklin in August.

Advanced registration is required for all activities.
