The Williamson County Performing Arts Center at Academy Park, a premier Franklin entertainment venue in historic downtown Franklin, will host several family friendly events.

November 8 & 9:  The Musical Theatre Experience Program presents AristoCats Kids 

Performances will be Friday, November 8 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 9 at 2:00 p.m. Based on the beloved Disney animated film, and featuring a jazzy, upbeat score, Disney’s The Aristocats KIDS is a non-stop thrill ride of feline fun, complete with unbelievable twists and turns. Tickets are $7 and available at www.academypark.wcparksandrec.com.Disney’s The AristoCats KIDS is presented through a special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). November 15:  Five Points Swing Concert & Dance

Join us for a FREE dance lesson with Champion Ballroom Center an hour before the concert begins at 7:00 p.m. Then the Five Points Swing Band will help you put those new dance moves to use with a live music performance that will keep your feet tapping! Dressy attire admired, but not required! Tickets are $10 and available at https://academyparktn.wcparksandrec.com Individuals must purchase a ticket to the concert to attend the dance class.

November 16:  Electric Avenue 80’s Party featuring the PacRats

Do you want to dance with somebody? On Saturday, November 16 at 7:30 p.m., you can come in out of the “Purple Rain” for an evening of the best in music from the 1980’s. You’ll be “Walking on Sunshine” when our very own in-house band, the PacRats, take the stage to present their tribute to all things 80’s. Tickets are $15 in advance or $18 at the door. www.academyparktn.wcparksandrec.com
