20th Annual Steak & Burger Dinner
Tuesday evening, March 31, Boys & Girls Club of Franklin/Williamson County and Fairview Boys & Girls Club celebrated the 20th Annual Steak & Burger Dinner at the Embassy Suites in Cool Springs. The event was presented by Reliant Bank.
Adults enjoyed a salad and steak dinner while kids ate gourmet hamburgers with mac & cheese. Multiple GRAMMY, Stellar and Dove award-winning artist CeCe Winans led the program, which included a Fairview club member performing a clog dance, a Franklin club member reciting the club code and a group of club members singing. Youth of the Year awards were presented to Samantha Towler from the Fairview Club and Cherlia Fleming from the Franklin Club.
An exciting live auction raised money for the club, by auctioning off a Vanderbilt game-day package, luxury seats at the Billy Joel and Elton John concert, a Gibson guitar autographed by Rascal Flatts band and Taylor Swift and an autographed Predators jersey from their Inaugural season. The evening concluded with a wonderful performance by the Fisk Jubilee Singers.
