Williamson Medical Welcomes Pulmonologist
Williamson Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, a practice partnered with Williamson Medical Center, welcomed a new pulmonologist to its practice Monday, Aug. 1.
Devin Sherman, M.D., is board certified in pulmonary disease and internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University, and he completed a residency and fellowship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University in St. Louis.
“We are pleased to have Dr. Sherman join our team,” says Shelly Brunette, practice manager. “He is an outstanding physician and is extremely personable. This addition will help us continue to increase quality of care and better serve our patients.”
Sherman joins Williamson Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine physicians Laura Hunt, M.D., and Aaron Milstone, M.D., who treat a wide range of lung and respiratory issues including asthma, emphysema, bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Sleep medicine also is a focus of the practice.
Sherman recently moved to Franklin with his wife, who is a pediatrician, his 7-month-old son and their two dogs.
“I am really excited about beginning this chapter of our life in Williamson County,” he says. “Both my wife and I are from Tennessee, so it’s good to be back. Franklin is a beautiful place to live and raise a family.”
