vineyard vines will offer 10 percent off all merchandise and will donate 10 percent of the day’s proceeds back to the Iroquois and its beneficiary. The in-store celebration will also feature live music from songwriter Nate King, food from Zoe’s Kitchen, cold beverages and proper instructions on how to tie a bowtie for those gentleman who wish to look dapper on race day.

“vineyard vines’ fun in-store event will be a great way for people to give back to the Children’s Hospital while pulling together items for their Steeplechase outfits at the same time,” said Libby Cheek, executive director of the Iroquois Steeplechase. “We’re so excited to have vineyard vines’ support again this year.”

In addition, May 3rd shoppers can register in-store for two fabulous giveaways. vineyard vines will be giving away 2 floor seat tickets to the Kelly Clarkson concert at Bridgestone Arena in September and two tickets to Peoplechase, the official kickoff party of Steeplechase weekend that takes place May 10 at Houston Station near downtown Nashville. Peoplechasers can expect a night of fun with Nashville’s most famous ‘80s cover band, Guilty Pleasures, food provided by Sperry’s Restaurant and Sam’s Sports Grill and complimentary drinks.

The success of the Iroquois and its ability to give back to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital is in large part due to the continued generosity of the Middle Tennessee community. The Iroquois, set for May 12, 2012, draws an average crowd of 25,000 each year, putting sponsors’ brands in front of thousands on race day.
